Rose's family is originally from Corpus Christi, I am from New York. She had been traveling back here periodically since she was a child and always wanted to live here.

We traveled together from New York to Corpus Christi in July 1996 to visit Rose's family and we decided to pull up stakes and move to the Windy City. We have remained here since then because we LOVE the area so much!

I began my floor installation business in New York in 1986. I worked with several skilled installers with Cadillac Carpet of New York, learning the trade. We exchanged experiences and techniques for floor installations on many old and new building designs. I worked mostly on Long Island but also in Manhattan and the Queens.

Several interior decorators insisted on me for projects requiring seams on the Loop Pile Berber type of carpet because of my skill at hiding the seam.

Rose and I opened our own business in January of 2003. We prefer hardwood floors and carpets, but also do laminates, vinyl and tile. Most of our projects involve helping the customer choose the best quality floor to meet their budget.

Every now and then we get the opportunity to customize a unique project that allows me to unleash the creative and artistic qualities that may not be available in your every day installer.

We like to make your experience with us pleasant, personal and productive. We enjoy going to your place to take the measurements, and will bring along plenty of samples. If we didn't pick to your taste, we have a full showroom of choices available back at our shop.

Once you've decided on the floor of your dreams, you can sleep restfully, knowing that I will make sure it gets installed properly. I do it personally. When I employ help, I check their work daily.
